Backtest your Market Strategies

FinGraphs introduces HistoView on all its charts. This new functionality will allow users to backtest their own markets strategies by scrolling back and forth in time. It will highlight how historical trends have interplayed in the past and hence help users get a better assessment of what to look out for today and in the future.

How Does It Work

FinGraphs’ HistoView is embedded within each FinGraphs chart:

One can either scroll back and forth with the dedicated buttons.

Or choose a specific historical date in the past:.

Note: The backtrack tool is not yet available on Mosaic Views and relative charts because of the complexity due to the differences in opening hours and holidays between the different markets considered or compared.
